My name is David Hörning, and I am a freelance actor and voice-over artist. I was born in Hanover in 1993. After graduating from the University of Music and Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Leipzig, I worked as a member of the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam for 3 years. I then decided to pursue a freelance career and now work full-time as a voice-over artist in dubbing, radio drama, advertising, and voice-over projects. During my 20+ year career as a teacher and educational staff-developer/consultant, I worked on a number of E-learning based projects doing instructional and character voiceover which led me on the path to doing VO work full-time! In addition to E-learning, I have voiced commercials, video game characters and audiobooks.

Two-time Voice Arts Award® winner for Outstanding Voice Assisted Device A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) and Best Spanish Voice Over in Storyteller. For years, she has been the official dubbing voice of major celebrities including Eva Longoria, Brooke Shields, Giada De Laurentis, and Tiffany Haddish for the Latin market.

In 1999 I began my journey as a sound designer/audio engineer, working for two private radio stations in Switzerland for the following couple of years. That's where I got in touch with voice acting as well. I have been doing voice acting now for 16 years, mainly in Swiss German, German, sometimes in English or French. <br /> In 2015 I started to work as a self-employed audio engineer/voice actor with my own studio and a separate vocal booth.
